The Green Screen's artwork is about how money or privilege can blind or numb many to the completely real suffering of others, to the ruination of others' lives through the willful neglect that is inevitable with such peaks of entitlement; how other people become only an extension of oneself, a way of flattering one's own perception through judgement or comparison. Instead of inspiring compassion, the lack of status of others, despite their possible merit, simply becomes another feedback loop to confirm one's own place above "the rest." Behind the green is a snapshot in deep blue, with only the ironic words: SUMMIT DINER.
